Thank you for your interest in the Dorrance Scholarship Programs!
If you are unable to agree with ALL of the following statements, you are ineligible for the Dorrance scholarship. Please only apply if each criterion applies to you.
- I am a senior in good standing who will graduate from an accredited Arizona high school.
- I certify that neither of my parents (or legal guardians), living or deceased, biological or adoptive, holds the equivalent of a four-year degree from any American or foreign university.
- I have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA (weighted or unweighted).
- I have a minimum combined SAT score of 1040 or composite ACT score of 22 (excluding writing scores).
- I understand that I must have a completed FAFSA on file. (The recommended FAFSA deadline is February 14, 2011.)
- I plan to attend the main campus of one of Arizona's public universities: Arizona State University (Tempe), Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff), or The University of Arizona (Tucson).
- I understand that the Program does not support online programs of study.
In addition to submitting your online application, you must download, sign and print the Application Checklist. Mail this Checklist, together with your official transcript and verification of your test scores, to the address below.
You can print the Checklist here. Use the forms following the Checklist to request letters of recommendation from your counselor and the teacher of your choice. It is not necessary to mail these two forms to the Dorrance Scholarship Programs.

- Letters of recommendation are due March 1, 2011. Letters must be submitted electronically; paper letters will not be accepted.
- Your supplemental materials must be postmarked by February 25, 2011.
